1. Paris Day Trips

Beyond Paris seems like a really good site for day trips. Can be done using public transport - chateaux, gardens, towns, churches.

Hello, Bonjour and Dia Dhuit,
Well now, I am quite excited - my next trip is to England, France and Ireland and this is the first time to "Europe." I have always wanted to go to Ireland, ever since I was a little child when my Grandma used to dandle me on her knee and tell me stories about Ireland and sing Irish songs to me. She told me she used to write to her uncles over there. Alas, the only part of that I remember is Pallaskenry, Country Limerick, Ireland.
.....I fly first to London, then Eurostar to Paris and from there over to Dublin across and around the "Forty shades of green." Then it's back to England for a couple of overnight trips around the country.
.....As with my previous blogs, I am researching hostels, tours, buses, things to see and do, sights, attractions and will be including helpful links in the sidebar.
